Metal Maiden

One look at me and you will say this female can't listen to metal. Reason - I am not wearing metal tee, eyes are without dark kohl and no rebellious behaviour. Just a simple ordinary girl. Duh! Dikhavo pe mat jao, apni akal lagao :P But start talking about metal and I can give most of the guys a complex. Just because I don't dress like a metal head and don't go around boasting to every random person (read door to door salesmanship) people automatically assume that I can't listen to metal.

But talking about metal definitely brings a glint to my otherwise dull eyes. Though I am still exploring, I am into heavy metal, thrash metal, power metal, glam metal, progressive metal and neo-classical metal. This comes as a surprise to people who listen to only one or two sub genres. What shocks them to the core is the fact that apart from metal, I listen to rock n roll, hard rock, psychedelic rock, progressive rock, grunge, classic pop and a li'l of jazz and blues too.

In this age where you will find many who listen to metal just thinking that it makes them 'cool', I am glad I am not one of them. And for people who think I listen to metal to get attention...please! If I needed attention, all I had to do is get a makeover and voila! I would have all the attention I needed.
